DESCRIPTION:This course provides intensive coverage of the principles and practice of Asset Management. The content covers Modules 1 – 5 and is aligned to PAS 55\, ISO 55000\, and to the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) competency framework \n\n\n\nOur aim is to prepare students to pass the IAM Certificate in Asset Management examination. It is suited to experienced practitioners with industrial or infrastructure asset management responsibilities\, who can relate concepts to their work environment. \n\n\n\nThe course covers the 5 modules of the IAM Certificate in Asset Management qualification: \n\n\n\n\nModule 1 The Principles of Asset Management\n\n\n\nModule 2 Asset Management Policy\, Strategy and Planning\n\n\n\nModule 3 Managing Asset Life Cycle Decisions and Activities\n\n\n\nModule 4 Assessing and Managing Asset Management Risks\n\n\n\nModule 5 The Financial and Business Impact of Asset Management\n\n\n\n\nClick here to find out more about the course modules and content. \n\n\n\nDates: 8th June – 11th June 2026Daily: Monday – Thursday\, 09:00 – 16:00  (CST) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIAM Certificate Examination \n\n\n\nBe ready to take your IAM Certificate Examination once you have completed your Principles of Asset Management course\, studies and recommended reading. You can even take the exam at home with OnVue. \n\n\n\nFees shown cover the registration process and provide entry to sit the examination once. If a candidate opts to re-sit the examination\, the same fee applies to register and sit the exam again. Students will be supplied with a voucher code enabling online registration. \n\n\n\nThe Principles of Asset Management Exam is a 2-hour invigilated exam and comprises 60 multiple-choice questions over 5 compulsory modules. To be awarded the IAM Certificate\, candidates will need to achieve an overall score of 65%\, with a score of not less than 50% in each of the five modules.
