Offering a brief introduction to ISO 55001 and management systems, this course introduces the concept of the ‘corporate journey’ and the use of an ‘asset management system’ as a framework for applying good practice.
It delivers practical guidance on how to develop practical solutions for applying asset management in your business.
Candidates will be provided with a copy of The Institute of Asset Management (IAM) System Application Guide which was developed by a cross-organizational team of experienced practitioners from multiple organizations and provides detailed support and further reading (more than 100 pages).

Be able to contribute to the development and application of an asset management system (AMS) in an organization
This course is suitable for those who already have a basic understanding of Asset Management principles and practices. For example, successful completion of the 1-day IAM Foundation course or the Woodhouse Asset Management Academy ‘Principles of Asset Management’ eLearning modules.
