Your trainer: Richard Blackman
Richard is a highly experienced Chartered Engineer, Richard is a chartered engineering consultant with a wealth of asset management and operational experience gained in industry since 1992. Including assignments for the rail, bus and ferry transport authority (Nexus) in Tyne and Wear. Other clients have included a UK steel manufacturer, gas production facility in Tunisia and a global facilities service company. Richard started his career in the Nuclear Power Industry and then spent 10 years working in Pharmaceuticals reaching a senior manager level. He is customer focused, results driven and commercially guided, with excellent team and leadership skills. A superb change manager and influencer, who is highly effective at all levels in an organisation. As a great facilitator and meticulous planner he has delivered a broad range of AM services. These include both AM and maintenance audits, RCM/FMECA training and facilitation, equipment reliability improvement programs and maintenance manager development and mentoring. Recent experience has been the on-going successful delivery of our IAM Certificate training course and AM eLearning module creation.
